Craig Harvey, chief of the Los Angeles County department of coroner, said Heavy D’s death could have been brought on by a clot caused by an extended flight. The rap legend had recently traveled from London. The coroner classified his official cause of death as natural and stated that heart disease was also a factor in the rapper’s death. Heavy D, born Dwight Arrington Myers, died suddenly on November 8.
